The Wonderlanders are families who travel Australia in Wonderland RV caravans, and most of them are living in a caravan full time. Meet The Feel Good Family, the Wheatland Wanderers, Sandy Van Travels, Livin In Sanity and The Kiwi Van Life. The Feel Good Family planned a two-year lap that turned into seven years, and The Kiwi Van Life sold their house in seven days, then made van life their long-term lifestyle. What began as a two-year lap of Australia has somehow turned into seven years of full-time travel. We’ve explored some incredible places, met amazing people and shared plenty of stories along the way.
The Wheatland Wanderers are Cam, Sharyn, and their sons Jye and Cruz. They started out their journey inside of tents, pop-up caravans, and expanders.
Jess and Doug sold everything in Brisbane to travel Australia full-time with their three kids, documenting the journey through photography, video and honest storytelling.
Since February 2023, this beautiful family has been full-time travelling, capturing awesome moments and sharing epic memories.
Rorden, Cass, Jed and Lexi sold their house in seven days and hit the road in their Hornet. A year was never going to be enough, so van life became the long-term plan.

A Wonderlander is a Wonderland RV owner, part of the community of people who travel in Wonderland RV caravans. The families on these pages are Wonderlanders who share their vans and their tips for life on the road, from caravan storage ideas to their favourite camping recipes.
Several of the Wonderlander families homeschool on the road and work from wherever they are parked. The Feel Good Family run their business as they travel, Sandy Van Travels work remotely on their photography, and both rely on Starlink to stay connected. The Kiwi Van Life homeschool too, and say the kids learn so much more out there.
Wonderland RV caravans are built in Campbellfield, Melbourne, where the family-owned company has its factory and showroom. There’s no set length for a big lap of Australia, and for two of the Wonderlander families the plan changed on the road. The Feel Good Family set out on a two-year lap in 2019 and are still going seven years later. The Kiwi Van Life planned a year, then made it their long-term lifestyle after fourteen months.
